This album seems to get better after every listen. And I have stopped counting how many times I have listened. The pinnacle of atmospheric black metal is close to being achieved; it's definitely quintessential.

This is beautiful in many ways, but the mix on the vocals is distracting, and not in a good way. I know what they were going for but Paysage d’Hiver and a few others have been more effective I think. Still I do enjoy enough of it to recommend it. I like the bass lines.
